Baby Shower Announcement

Jody is having a baby, and the theme of the shower is pretty in pink, so I offered to design her baby shower invite, and here it is! I am happy with it.

Summer Goals

I have alot of goals this summer, since I am not in school and have a lot of extra time. Here they are:

Keep a tight budget,
paint watercolors (1 each week)
draw
Jody's wedding book
edit my pdf portfolio
learn more about digital photography
book a small vacation for just chance and I
tennis each week
run a half marathon and a 10k
hike timp
exercise 5-6 times a week
cook at least 3 times per week
only go out to eat once per week at work, once per week with Chance

we'll see how I do with these at the end of summer!

CHUCK BASS

So, this is my rendition of Chuck Bass. Doesn't look too much like him, but I was happy with the finished product. I know it could be better, but I can tell I'm improving in my painting, which makes me happy!

WATERCOLOR IS FUN

I have been kind of down about painting lately. My last few paintings were not something to be proud of. I just wasn't in the mood, was feeling stressed, and didn't have much time to paint the last few paintings. This morning I got up early and painted this for my watercolor class. I turned on some music, I wasn't in any hurry, and it turned out quite nicely for my skill level! I was very happy with it. Here it is.

Our First Christmas

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Yay! its Christmas time! The best time of year. You get to do lots of shopping, make yummy holiday treats, sip hot cocoa, spend time with family, and be off school for half the month! What a great holiday! This is our first Christmas together, and tonight we decorated our first Christmas tree! We weren't going to have any holiday decorations, but thanks to a couple in our ward for the tree, and my great sister inlaw for the ornaments, we have the holiday spirit in our home! And it was free! I'm so greatful for how kind people are, because it really makes a difference to have a tree with gifts under it! It makes me happy and makes our little apartment feel like home. Here is our tree!

I've been teaching myself more and more how to alter photos in photoshop, because I really enjoy it, and the pictures can look a million times better after. I played around with brushes, adjustment layers, and filters. It's really fun to see the final product.
